![]() I wasn’t able to get software to overclock my current GPU sadly. My question is, if I plug the in Nvidia or a smaller Graphics Card in to the PCI, Will it take some of the load of the intel 4600 GPU? I’d still like to hook up to the intels RGB. I got an old Nvidia 280gtx out of a 2008 Alienware R4 Aurora tower and was thinking of hooking it up but I’d need to do some modifications and it’s also DVI. On the motherboard there’s an open PCIe 16x slot I could put another graphics card in. Opened it up and looked at the specs… it’s running a intel HD 4600 graphics card. GPU maxed at 100% but I’m able to get 10FPS when running 280p. So far I’m loving it for work, but I guess I expected too much when I tried to download the new sons of the forest game and run it. I bought one of these $350 eBay built computers equipped with an Intel i5-4690 3.50ghz, 16GB of ram, and 500gbSSD.
